Circular forms and white gestural marks float against a dark ground, their edges softened by the printing process. Black linear marks cut through the field but do not contain it. The surface feels like it is in the process of dispersing, marks pulling away from each other rather than compressing together.

Monotype on Fabriano paper. The circular forms and gestural white marks suggest selective removal from a dark printed ground, with additional black linear elements applied on top. The overall effect is of a surface caught between accumulation and withdrawal.

The artwork is framed in a slim contemporary black aluminium frame using Art Glass.
