Acrylic and ink are layered to evoke forms that surface slowly through time. The work reflects on excavation as both a physical and emotional process, where traces emerge like fragments from a personal archaeology, suspended between what is revealed and what remains concealed.
Created through a slow, subtractive monotype process, the image is built and lifted by hand. Once the print was pulled, additional markings were made directly onto the surface, further extending the act of excavation and response.
The artwork is framed in a slim contemporary black aluminium frame using Art Glass.
