The composition is organised around a rigid grid, but its order is repeatedly unsettled. Stitched blocks drift across the surface while curved lines pull against the lattice, introducing pauses, detours, and moments of uncertainty. Multiple red anchor points suggest competing centres, holding the system in tension rather than resolution.
Sewn entirely by hand, fine thread is used to construct and disrupt the grid simultaneously. Straight lines, arcs, and stitched fields accumulate through repetition, allowing the work to hover between control and deviation. The piece captures a moment of hesitation, where structure resists collapse but no longer fully contains the movement it initiated.
