The composition begins within a grid, using repeated stitched units to establish order and containment. As the surface develops, lines begin to shift, loosen, and misalign, allowing rhythm and movement to emerge. The central red square acts as a visual anchor, holding the tension between structure and release as the surrounding system starts to drift.
Sewn entirely by hand, fine thread is used to build and interrupt the grid, with each stitch responding to the previous one. Through repetition and deviation, the work captures a moment where structure begins to move, reflecting on how systems adapt, fracture, and find new forms of coherence.
