Drift Mark II

Red pigment settles into creases and planes, carrying traces of touch, pressure, and restraint. The composition holds a quiet tension, where movement feels contained and gestures linger without resolution.

Created as a monotype, pigment is transferred through folded surfaces, allowing contact, pressure, and chance to shape the image. The work emerges through moments of compression and release, forming a single, unrepeatable impression that preserves the weight of a simple action.

The artwork is framed in a slim contemporary white aluminium frame using Standard Glass.
