Contours of Restless Currents

Dense fields of blue are threaded with fine white contours that accumulate across the surface. The lines drift, compress, and repeat, suggesting movement held just below visibility. Rather than depicting water or place directly, the work reflects on sustained motion and pressure, where energy circulates quietly and continuously.

The work was painted in acrylic on board, building layered colour fields as a base. Acrylic marker was then used to draw the white contours by hand, allowing the surface to be slowly activated through repetition, rhythm, and subtle variation.
