Fragmented marks gather and disperse across the surface, leaving behind faint traces of movement and pause. Darkened forms press against lighter passages, suggesting a body caught between motion and rest. The work carries the quiet weight of exhaustion, where effort lingers as residue rather than action.
Created as a monotype, ink is layered, lifted, and reworked by hand to build density and interruption. Once the print was pulled, additional ink markings were added directly onto the surface, responding to the initial impression and extending the sense of strain and persistence
The artwork is framed in a slim contemporary white aluminium frame using Art Glass.
